London BT Tower
Built in 1964, opened to the public 1966 but didn’t exist until 1993!
David McMahon again has two class suggestions -
“Dear Basil. Here’s our next location ‘Fawlty Towers’. Don’t mention the wall. Love Sybil”
and
“Skye scraper”

I should explain my comment. Though the Tower sticks out like a sore thumb, and can be see from all over London, until 1993 it was classed as an Official secret - it did not exist. It was against the law to make reference to it in any document. And it wasn’t shown on any maps. A reversal of the Emperor’s cloths.
Unfortunately the policy didn’t work; the IRA planted a bomb at the top of the tower - someone must have told them the tower was there!!
Dear Basil. Here’s our next location for `Fawlty Towers’. Don’t mention the wall. Love, Sybil
