Good morning Captionists
Towards the end of last week customers lost confidence in the Northern Rock, as a result there was a run on the bank, with £2 billion (lots of noughts) withdrawn in two days.
At the beginning of this week queues could be seen outside Northern Rock branches of people wanting to close their accounts. The Government was forced to step in and guarantee depositors money - thankfully the panic is know over.
But what caption does the image suggest? - 21 September 2007 at 09:22

I always thought Northern Rock was a type of popular music!Something akin to the Liverpool sound.
I once saw a bear take its pet rock for a walk, it was feeding it bagels! - 22 September 2007 at 09:24
