Hi Doug & David
Looks like the other contributors to the site have fallen by the wayside.
I’ll keep it going for another week, then assess if its worth continuing.
Having said that - if I do decide to shut down the site, I’d miss your captions which are guaranteed to give viewers a good laugh.

Heartfelt advice -

Keep it going. It's not a huge effort, but it's a great idea. I will plug it again and you should (slowly) get more visitors.

Chewy and BTBear are good value as well.

Don't give up. Something that's good quality will always succeed.

Just a VERY minor point - the links go to my blogger profile and not my site.

Chin up .....

David

Great to know the traffic is increasing.

Okay - here's the deal. People leave comments when they're comfortable with a site and it feels familiar to them. The more they visit a site, the more comfortable they feel.

It's great to know the traffic is increasing. No reason, therefore, to giv up.

More traffic = more people who will soon start leaving comments.

You're on your way. Persist.

Cheers

David

... will shortly be posting a pointer on my blog to your caption contest

... also, you might find if you revert to linking to blogs rather than blog profiles (choice is yours, and i understand why you made the decision) that it attracts more entries from new readers.....

let me know
